5. yup, and he got a ver positive reaction from a conservative audience

with that.

it was during his speech to some conservative veteran organization. i think the American Legion . but he didn't get that great a response when he came out. maybe a little polite applause from some decent types. and they didn't react at all and didn't like it when he criticized the war.

but when he talked about military benefits and other programs and things for veterans, he got a very positive response.

Its not really a left or right issue for me, its about just giving the guys and gals who risked their life for our country a chance to come back to their country after serving it and to get the benefits they earned.

7. i agree, that's why i'm glad KErry appeared before the group

and hope he continues to. he understands they are conservative leaning and he wouldn't get a great response. but he also knows they are veterans and deserve these things regardless of their politics.

That really is awesome because the first GI bill helped so many people and created the modern American middle class. Also because I got quite a few friends in the military.
