I've never really read this blog through before. At first, it seems like a typical Freeper site because it is written from a "Republican perspective" complete with RW talking points and beliefs. However, once you start reading, you realize it is a lampoon of the Republican perspective. That I took this writer literally (at first read) is a testament to how twisted things have become in this country.

A liberal talking about a conservative talking about a liberal?

1. I don't understand their point.

What good does it do to repeat their stuff--even sarcastically? Does it suddenly make lightbulbs go off?

Clearly, this is over my head.

2. I hear ya. It's a little too "liberal elite" for my tastes.

The average person reading this might not realize it is sarcasm. I almost didn't and I read this stuff all the time. The writer seems a little too caught up in his own intellectualism.

I'm still not certain when I read the articles that reference Senator Kerry whether or not the writer is pro or anti-Kerry. He's too into his "character." Deep cover, perhaps?
