I'm kind of under attack over on Kos

In the context of talking about something else, I brought up the famous incident where Kos said Kerry used to support gay marriage but flip-flopped. I've been troll-rated halfway to oblivion because of it. I don't want it to turn into a flame-fest, but if anyone wants to look at my comments (some are hidden by troll ratings, I think) and rate me up, that'd be nice. (If you want to make constructive criticism about how I could've expressed it so as to be less like flame-bait, heck, I'm always willing to learn, too.)

Non-TU's at dkos, you can probably go rate it up now. The one that drew all the low rates was the first one ND posted "I have sympathy, *but*".

(The ratings have to average out to 1.00 or better for the comment to be visible to non-TUs. A "recommend" = 4, a "troll" = 0. Troll rating that comment was ratings abuse, IMO.)

12. Interesting dynamic there -

often when someone troll rates a comment that really didn't deserve it, the original poster ends up with TU status because of all the counter-ratings.

If you really think someone over there is an a** but a particular comment of theirs isn't really trollish on its own (or if you are on a pro-"flavor of the week" thread and the post supports the flavor), it's usually best to pass it by rather than bothering to troll-rate it.

13. I've nevere understood the TU thing.

It seems a tad arbitrary. My user ID is really low - 3004, and to my knowledge my comments have been mostly rated with 4's, but still - not a TU. I suspect my pro-JK stance may have influenced the judges - I couldn't see any of ND's posts.
