1. He shouts a lot.

His speech was passionate and he hit all the Democratic high notes about Bush and the incompetence of this government. He got excellent audience response, but he was too 'shouty' for me.

(except I will admit I FF'd through a lot of Biden, ;) )

Biden says the right words, but what is missing is "heart". He's too smart-alecky.

Clark does have a lot of heart. And he is an intellectual, something which always tends to make me trust someone. I'm not sure about him: he might be ok, but I'm not sure he's doveish enough for me--that's why I switched to JK from Clark in '03. With JK I got intellect, experience, and I also trusted his values and convictions.

I'd personally rather eat poisoned sushi while listening to arias from Madame Butterfly than watch an hour show (or was it two hours) devoted to Joe Biden.
