discussing Iraq with Murtha. I am very pleased that Murtha mentioned Senator Kerry.

I do believe this staff shell game Bush is playing is partly to distract focus from Kerry's call for withdrawal from Iraq. Of course, the other part is that the lot of them are crooks.

5. Fitz - Rove Grand Jury

I read over in GD that Fitzgerald presented evidence against Rove to the Grand Jury yesterday. That's what the "shake up" is about, looks like Fitz is going to try and charge Rove with lying too.

6. Someone suggested that the Rove change could

be due to the need to reduce his security clearance. Outing a CIA operative could do that. The policy job - at least on the foreign policy side - would need a clearance.

That is great that Murtha said it - Kerry has mentioned Murtha on the troop issues. It's nice that Murtha refers to Kerry on the diplomatic side.

9. i wonder if Murtha has a different view of Kerry and Vietnam now

as recently as 2004 he was critical of Kerry for protesting the Vietnam War. i wonder if he has a different view of that now. especially when you think of all the crap Kerry got including questioning his own service. and how young he was at the time .
