This was noticed independent of anything I did. It is my understanding that a lot of people expressed concern last week when Sen. Kerry missed votes and hearings in Congress and wanted to know if everything was all right.

That simple expression of concern was conveyed. It was nice. Just human and sweet and nice and what good people do. So, I just wanted to let you know that we got a copy of the Globe obit on Ms. Thorne in return, which had already been posted here, and a nice word of thanks for the respectful words and warmth.

You are a very nice and caring group of people. You rock! You also recognize a human loss and treat it as such. If only the world had more people like you good folks in it, it would be a better place.

So, the warmth and concern and expressions of sorrow were conveyed. And heard. Indepedent of me. (Hey, you folks have your own voices that are wonderful to hear.)
