What can anyone tell me about housing in Paris? I will be in Nantes at the end of May and through June, but for the entire month of July I will be in Paris and have to find my own housing. Any hints, tips?

The FUSAC is an excellent way to find short-term housing. First off, you should try to find housing through your program. Where are you enrolled? Most programs have housing assistance.

4. Je ferai les études à L'Université Panthéon-Assas

(in conjunction with Tulane University school of Law). They don't provide us housing for this program (they do in Nantes)- we are on our own.

I think L'Université Panthéon-Assas is in the cinquième arrondisement so I'm looking in 7e, 6e, 14e, and 13e.

I know nothing about the University of Chicago Law School so it's difficult to compare.

Within la faculté de droit de l'Université Paris II Panthéon Assas there are several groups of far right student.

In the past they have committed violent actions.

Worse : J.C. Martinez, a prominent member of the Front National, the French far right party is teaching in Assas.

But It's a minority and not an official policy of the University.

8. University of Chicago Law School

etait la pepiniere pour plusieurs avocats qui etaient a l'origine de la poursuite de Bill Clinton.

Ces avocats portaient le nom de "elves" dans l'affaire Whitewater/ Paula Jones/Lewinsky. Ils travaillaient dans l'obscurite, parfois dans l'anonymat complet, a contourner la loi afin d'attaquer Clinton et mettre fin a son regime.

Cette faculte est aussi connue comme centre de la Federalist Society, une organisation professionnelle pour avocats de l'extreme droite.
