le "en" veut dire "of it". C'est la manière correcte d'exprimer cette phrase même si la grammaire, elle, est formellement correcte.

Vraiment, la phrase n'est pas complète (accord de l'adjectif au féminin)... J'ai pensé à cela
(ou mieux : "j'y ai pensé") après que je l'ai écrit (ou mieux "après l'avoir écrit").

c'est pas facile, je sais....

5. Thanks again.
I don't have time at the moment to translate this into my awkward French, but I appreciate your patience. I had one semester of French, but really want to learn it. I've been trying on my own, but it's hard to learn a language by yourself :). There are few phrases I can formulate directly in French. As is obvious, I think in English and then translate, and you get to see the results :).
