I am hard of hearing, wear hearing aids and cannot hear very well. Eh? I've tried to figure out how to say "I do not hear well" and have come up with
Je n'entends pas bien or Je n'entendre pas bien. Is 1 more proper/correct?

Also, I'm trying to figure out word placement. Should "bien" be inside je n'...pas or after? (Je ne parle pas français bien or Je ne parle français bien pas)? I have thought after, but my know it all UP Jr says inside. Merci beaucoup.

2. 'Je n'entends pas bien' isn't quite it

It doesn't express the idea that you can't hear all the time, not just at this moment. You mean something like 'I'm hard of hearing': "Je suis dur d'oreille" or "Je suis malentendant" (or malentendante if female).

"I don't speak French well" would be "Je ne parle pas bien le francais." Keep the adverb close by the verb.
