A Little History Class Help???
I have a friend who is finishing up a paper on how religion was used to legitimize centralized rule in the ancient and medieval worlds? (Specifically the Roman/Byzantine Empires). The paper is nearly complete, but he feels he might be missing something. Any thoughts?

1. What has he used so far?
My initial thought was to Google "divine right of kings," but surely he's worked with a variety of resources right now. I'd need to know a little bit more about what he's looking for.

3. "Divine right of kings" was postulated well after the Roman
or Byzantine eras.
