found herself in Hell. Of course, she was quite upset, having lived a very good and pious life.


She got on the telephone and said, "Saint Peter, this is Sister Teresa, and there seems to have been a mistake because I am down here in Hell."

Saint Peter says, "Oh that is a mistake, we'll get it corrected."


A few days go by and Sister Teresa is still in Hell, so she calls again and says "St. Peter, you've got to get me out of here! It's awful down here!"

"Oh, dear," St. Peter says, "I'm sorry, we must fix this. Be patient, please."


(Today he'd say the computers are all down!)


A few more days go by and she calls again and says,

"Hi, Pete, this is Tess! Never mind!"
