I am looking for the name of a song that is sung

by the Priest during the Consecration at Easter time. Does anyone know what it is called? It is the most beautiful song and I can't find the name anywhere.

1. I couldn't find anything tied to the Consecration. Were you thinking of this:

The Exsultet (Easter proclamation). "This magnificent hymn, which is remarkable for its lyric beauty and profound symbolism, announces the dignity and meaning of the mystery of Easter; it tells of man's sin, of God's mercy, and of the great love of the Redeemer for mankind, admonishing us in turn to thank the Trinity for all the graces that have been lavished upon us" (©1947 With Christ Through the Year, by Bernard Strasser). This is usually sung by the deacon.

Let it mingle with the lights of heaven and continue bravely burning to dispel the darkness of this night!

It's the actual words of the Eucharistic prayer, (I think # III) sung to the most beautiful tune. I'm going to go over to the Church tomorrow and see if I can find it.

3. The music, Gregorian, would be in the Sacramentary. I don't remember a song. I'll listen Sunday.
