2. Ironically, when Benedict was Ratzinger, he was in favor of exploring
the possibility of a female deaconate, and worked hard to correct SSPX-sympathetic clergy.

3. Why should the Catholic Church be exempt from equal opportunity laws?
I'm quite serious about this - many businesses kicked and screamed
when equality of opportunity was first discussed, but there are few
who don't accept it now.

Why should an exception be made for the Church?
