Street stalls demolished for Papal visit

The Pope is going to be visiting Cameroon in the near future. So how did the local law enforcement prepare for this? Security forces in Cameroon demolished street stalls and beat up both youths and stallholders.

It's one thing to throw the money changers out of the temple, but it's another thing entirely to go to the marketplace and destroy people's livelihoods like this. We all know Christ did the former, but I can't see him doing the latter. It turns my stomach.

1. This is like running the homeless out of town when

the president is going to visit or a convention is going to be held. Popes and presidents should be allowed to see the poor and homeless so that they may be moved to do something about their problems.

2. That might work with the Pope or President Obama

It would not have worked with the previous President or most of his colleagues in the Republican party.
