How to tell you're in a Catholic home: |
|
1. A crucifix, image of Mary or a saint is prominently displayed.
2. Extra points if a crucifix, image of Mary and saints are prominently displayed
3. Extra points if last year's palms are tucked behind any of these items.

Since Palm Sunday was not too long ago, we've got this year's palms tucked behind these items now.

she asked me if I could give them to her.
I have a crucifix necklace, but my main display is a Russian style Icon rather than a crucifix.
I want a San Damiano style cross for my wall.

My aunt used to have a candle burning in front of a picture of the Sacred Heart. I'm tempted, but I'm afraid of fire!

How many extra points does one get if one's cat eats either part or all of the palms? Last year I watched my sister's cat while my sister was doing pharmacy rotations and said cat was quite interested in the palms the human brought home one Sunday.

6. That depends. Are the palms temporariliy on the dining room table, or |
|
has the cart actually had to make the extra effort of jumping on top of the piano, bookcase, etc to reach them?

7. They were just sitting on the table for a few minutes |
|
There's a piano and bookcase, but the palms weren't kept above those.
