Welp....I've been reluctant to ask this.....
but it's been weighing heavily on me for some time now.

My 3 children go/have gone to catholic school/college. They HAVE gone to Catholic school for all of their lives. My youngest one is a sophomore in HS. I'm under EXTREME financial duress (as I've eluded to many times in the recent past ~ since May '09)

I really won't be able to keep her there ~ although that is the desire of my heart (and hers too). I don't know how to go looking about for a benefactor. But that's what we need right now a benefactor.

To be clear, my eldest two children have more than successfully made it through Catholic school. I'm not asking for help for three children. It's just help complete my youngest one's Catholic education. 2.5 years of high school. I don't know how I can possibly pay for that right now.

I know we either need a benefactor, I need a job (with free catholic tuition, et al??), or a MIRACLE.

Any or all solutions or ??? would be gratefully welcomed & considered.

Please keep us in your prayers. G-d knows best whether she should be in catholic school or not right now, for her. I do trust that.

Peace,
M_Y_H

1. Any chance of getting help from the school or the diocese?
Some schools offer part time jobs and some dioceses will offer tuition assistance.

2. Well.....my children and *I* have a LOT to offer...heck, the catholic church has
taught us, after all! To which we are TRULY grateful. But the catholic church doesn't *ask for it back*. Doesn't ask me to work, doesn't ask/hope my children will be educators, etc....even though they have been 'well-schooled'] That's really a 'mystery'. OH...It's prolly going to be catholicism's downfall..

4. To clarify. I wish that somewhere in the Catholic church, I could/would be offered
a job.

Not only a job, but that someone needs/values/wants me.

The Catholic church has done a *piss-poor* job in valueing "it's own"

:crying:

up to 60% of her tuition paid for by some program within the diocese. I'd start there. I'm sure they all have financial help available. good luck and God bless you for trying to keep your child in a Catholic school.
