I went to a funeral today.
He was 86.
It was a wonderful service.
Loads of family and friends eulogized the guy.
He was very active in his church and community.
He knew everybody, and everybody knew him.
They told funny stories about a long and full life.
We all prayed for his family.

I didn't know him too well.
I guess it makes it easier to say.
I enjoyed the service.
I felt close to God for an few minutes there.

1. That generation...

I love them.

What a great post of yours!

Community is really how I identify their generation.

They knew everyone around them and looked out for one another.

Now we type at each other rather than talk over the fence.
