A prayer for my nana who is dying

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

1. Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art thou among women.
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb - Jesus Christ.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners.
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

- Peace Kleeb

3. Divine Mercy Prayer
You expired Jesus,
but, the source of life gushed forth for souls
and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O, Fountain of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy
envelope the whole world
empty Yourself out upon us,
O Blood and Water,
which gushed forth as a source of Mercy for us,
I trust in You.
Amen.
---3 o'clock p.m. devotion to the death of Jesus
Peace and condolences,
Kleeb.

5. Praying for John's nana. . .

Prayer to St. Joseph

To thee I have recourse, St. Joseph, Patron of the dying; and to thee, at whose blessed death watchfully assisted Jesus and Mary, by both these dearest pledges I earnestly recommend the soul of this handmaid in the sufferings of her last agony, that she may by your protection be delivered from the snares of the devil and from eternal death, and may merit to attain everlasting joy.

Through the same Christ our Lord.

Amen.

7. This one is from the Irish
commendation of the dying

In Mary's keeping I placed you yesterday;
I place you today in the keeping of her Son.
May Peter open heaven to you willingly,
may Michael not call you to his left hand side,
may God and Mary come to claim you
and carry your soul to the City of Saints.

Rest and keep John's nana.

8. May light perpetual shine upon her!
Almighty God, look on this your servant, lying in great
weakness, and comfort her with the promise of life
everlasting, given in the resurrection of your Son Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.

God the Father,
Have mercy on your servant.

God the Son,
Have mercy on your servant.

God the Holy Spirit,
Have mercy on your servant.
