"Question" (Moody Blues) revised as "Questions for my therapist"
Edited on Thu Dec-03-09 10:22 PM by HereSince1628
Sometimes my thoughts have already been thought by more creative people.
In this case the "Moody Blues"

If you are a young whipper snapper this is the song it's based on: http://www.imeem.com/qpalmz12/music/O_8TFA4d/question/

It's not the way that you say it
when you seek memories of me
It's the way I long to believe
that there’s a path that leads from here . . .

And, when you stop
And think about it,
It’s painful, but it's true
That the effort you’ve been giving
Is mostly meant for you.

I'm looking for some way to change my life!
I'm looking for redemption in my time!
And if you could see
What it's done to me
To lose the dreams I knew
Would safely lead me through. . .

Between the silence of the mountains,
And the crashing of the sea,
There is a life. . . I once lived in,
Nothing waits back there for me.

In the grey of the morning,
When my mind is so confused,
Between the dead and the sleeping,
And the road that I must choose . . .

I'm looking for some help to change my life!
I'm looking for a miracle in my time!

And if you could see!
What it means to me
To lose the hope I knew . . .
but safely come back to
the person I once knew
And learn as I grow old
the secrets of my soul.

It's not the way that you say it
when you seek memories of me
It's the way I long to believe
that there’s a path leading out of here . . .

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
With a thousand million questions
About fear and doubt and more?

Coz, when I stop and look around me,
There is nothing that I need,
In this world of persecution
That is burning with its greed.

I'm looking for some way to save my life!
I'm looking for redemption in my time!
And if you could see,
What it's done to me--
To lose the dreams I knew
Would safely lead me through. . .

2. I hope I didn't wreck it for you...
I know that it is something aking to a pig rolling in mud,
but I find some relief in personalization of works of great talent.

3. Not at all. Plus, this depression has resulted in a thick layer of detachment
for some reason. Finally got my meds after more than two years. I'm hoping they'll kick in soon.
