Ultram/tramadol

1. Also
This is not intended to be medical advice. I just thought some of you might like to research this promising area of treatment.

Take care

3. I had never heard of this theory, but it makes a lot of sense.

I know several people who take Tramadol on a daily basis. The problems lie with the tolerance build-up, and that Tramadol is extremely difficult to quit once you take it regularly.

It would be nice if the drug companies could use this research and perhaps come up with an anti-depressant that has the depression relieving qualities of Tramadol.

Thanks for the info! :)

4. Good caveat.
Withdrawal from tramadol can be an awful experience, and very similar to that of the effexor, as they are so closely related chemically. Some have minor discomfort, most go through weeks and even months of very bad withdrawal, or "discontinuation syndrome" as psychiatrists now like to refer to it. I've read accounts from former opiate addicts that it is worse than heroin withdrawal, probably because of it's SSNI affects.
Thank you for responding!
