happy thanksgiving

everyone wants to talk about what you are thankful for today, and that is great. but maybe some folks here would like to vent a little and talk about what they wish for.

me, i wish for a time machine to go back and make some different choices, to hang on a little tighter to myself.

1. I'm in this position of not being able to be angry because

there's no one there to be angry with. Mom is cognitively labial, at best. My brother is ADD shading right into ---> more. I'm pretty much invisible to them most of the time. It feels more and more like that family in The Accidental Tourist. At any moment, Im going to start unpacking the groceries in alphabetical order. :)

4. What does that mean, what you said about your mom?

5. My poor mom has become unstable in her moods when she's stressed out.

She's 79 and pretty healthy but her mind is changing. :(

6. is that a good movie? i read the book.

i liked the book, although i didn't think it was the best book i ever read or anything.

yeah, can i wish that movies based on popular books at least tell the same story?

9. The acting is good, imo. It tells some of the same story

2. Happy Wishgiving Day

Not sure what I would wish for. It's going to be a hard day so I wish it was tomorrow. If you get that time machine working let me know. I need to go back about 10 years.

3. It would suck to have a time machine that only went back about 7 minutes.

Makes it tough to brag about it at parties. People want to go back to the time of Jesus and you can only get them to the beginning of that Iron Butterfly song that was just playing.

Apparently my wish is for well made time machines. :)

sometimes 7 minutes would be enough, but i rarely catch on that quickly.

8. LOL...I had 30 other bands go through my mind first,

I listen to a ton of bands that make long songs. Then I'm like, who is going to know who Wolves in the Throne Room is? That's when Iron Butterfly occurred to me. :)

And 7 minutes would leave me 6 minutes lost. ;)
