Mental illness may be related to lateralization of various functions in the brain and consequently handedness.

The good news in this is that although Lefties and especially mixed handers have more learning problems and somewhat greater chance of schizotypal and schizophrenia...although lefties and mixed are together are less than 20 percent of the population, are over represented among American presidents...which may say something about the presidents!

In the interest of full disclosure, I write left handed but scored a +5, and have absolutely no interest in being President!
