I've been treated for some years for both hypothyroid and depression. Lately my dose of Levoxyl was dropped twice and then I was switched to a lower dose of Synthroid. This was base on blood work and I am feeling better. My question is, why is my thyroid function improving? Does this have anything to do with my treatment for depression? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

It's normal. That's why they do the blood tests. As long as your thyroid is still functioning, the levels are going to go up and down.
