truly be OCD. If you went to an MD, I would get a second opinion. But, not knowing what meds you are on, I will give you this word of caution, do not stop them with out getting a second opinion, and ensuring a lower dosage step-down program is adhered to. Ceasing some meds "cold turkey" can have serious ramifications. I would get to another physician, one Iyou trust, and find out what is going on. Diagnosing OCD is not like diagnosing a broken leg, it takes time and there are certain steps that should be adhered to to come to the proper diagnosis. There are some other things that might mimic OCD and these must be ruled out first.
As for the panic attacks. These can be serious, and you need to get with a physician to see if they are caused by, or enhanced by the meds you are on. I too am addicted to this damnable internet, but I've learned to get away...some things are just not that important, they can wait. Your health is important, take care of that, and teh rest will fall into place...:)
