I like my current one, but I'm tired of being told what's happening is due to anxiety. Especially when my glucose reader is showing more and more readings below 80 (it used to never get below 86) and a couple of times has gotten to dangerous low levels.
The times I end up confused, tired, hungry, sweating all over the damn place are as varied as they can be. I know my symptoms when anxious. These are not it at all.
I then read this:The symptoms associated with hypoglycemia are sometimes mistaken for symptoms caused by conditions not related to blood sugar. For example, unusual stress and anxiety can cause excess production of catecholamines, resulting in symptoms similar to those caused by hypoglycemia but having no relation to blood sugar levels.
A person with hypoglycemia may feel weak, drowsy, confused, hungry, and dizzy. Paleness, headache, irritability, trembling, sweating, rapid heart beat, and a cold, clammy feeling are also signs of low blood sugar. In severe cases, a person can lose consciousness and even lapse into a coma.Except I now have actual
proof my blood sugar levels are askew. Yet they are taking no notice.
I ran 1000 feet and climbed up 5 flights of stairs then collapsed. This is NOT due to anxiety either. They are treating it as such.
What must I do to convince them that. this. is. not. anxiety.? Apart from going into a coma. That I'd rather NOT do.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
