I feel so lucky!
Edited on Sat Sep-16-06 05:41 PM by sfexpat2000
My two sons, who are the MOST HANDSOME MEN IN THE WORLD, lol, pried me out of this condo today, bought me a coffee and we spent three hours sitting on the beach and just talking. They made me commit to walking twice a day, and we're going to get together again next Saturday.

God, I love them so much. What an amazing thing to do.

:loveya:

1. Blessings on you
My kids pick me up when I'm down -- more often than I care to admit these days. Mine are still very young (5, 7, 13, and 15), but somehow they know when Dad needs a lift. They don't know enough to ask, and I really can't explain the why of my downs (I don't want to put that on them) -- whether they know it or not, they pull me through.

Kids are amazing. God love 'em. I do.

:-)

2. My 23 year old put his arms around me yesterday and thanked me
for helping him out with a project he's been working on. It meant the world to me!

Somehow they manage to pull through when you need it the most. :)

7. You have a sweet heart.
It touches me to read how the gestures from your sons make you so genuinely grateful and happy. I'm really glad that your sons did that for you. It's those kinds of moments in life that make it worth living. Sometimes I wish we could freeze those moments and live in them forever. Anyway, thanks for sharing that.
