Play along with me: What will I be asked?

I'm not sure what they're screening for. Didn't have to do this for the English grad dealie.

"When did you stop beating your cats?" lol -- I have no idea.

6. Remember: Mooning the interviewer is a career-limiting move.
But satisfying, at the appropriate time and under appropriate circumstances. ;-)

9. best of luck to you, sfexpat2000!
I have absolutely no idea what they will ask you. But all I can suggest is that you don't put on any acts and just be yourself. I'm sure that you'll do fine. Keep us posted!

Crossing everything I can without causing permanent damage.

13. Thank you, blondie58!
I'm going to make a list of questions about the program today. That should keep me busy. Maybe I'll get a hair cut, too.

It's funny that you mention putting on "an act". I was looking at their website yesterday to figure out how to dress for the meeting. Too late, I'm already planning the costuming! :hi:

16. lol, but not a bad idea
I often tell me daughter to pretend that she is an actress and act out the scene to make herself feel more comfortable in a situation. Nothing wrong with that, yet I am probably contradicting myself.

But really, it is like forcing a smile on your face when you feel grumpy- before long- you really are feeling cheerful!

17. Bingo! I've decided that since old hippies run this school
it has to be turquoise earrings, not pearls.

lololol

It's the difference between practice and faking, I think. I hope.

14. Possible questions:
How is it possible to ignore a big pink elephant? Don't you notice all the food gone and the mess it makes?

If you were to be delusional, what would be your choice of delusion?

If you were accepted to this program, can you agree not to chase after all the shiny aluminum foil that is scattered around the campus?

ooooohhh... shiny..... *chases the shiny*

*catches the shiny*

*plays with the shiny*

....what was I saying again?

20. I have no idea. lol
One of the interviewers turns out to be someone who was in that Object Relations working group with me at Cal. The world is tiny.

I expect I'll hear in the next week or so.

It felt really GOOD to be on a university campus again. :hi:

23. I am eager to be done with my studies.....lol...
Took 6 years to do it, and loved the intellectual and psychological (and perhaps spiritual) challenge of it, but I have had it for now - need a big break.

Tomorrow my final tutorial in Brussels, then 4 weeks to write my final paper and then I will have completed my long desired goal.

BSc Honours in International Studies with Geography and Politics.

For me, this is   :wow: :bounce: and :woohoo:

Best of luck with your new endeavor, and hope they can see your qualities through the formalities.

21. I dunno. I got the impression they liked my package
and all the trouble I've managed to get into over the years. But, I really can't tell. It was funny because the two interviewers seemed a little stiff to me but, I haven't been in academia for years. Maybe we're all like that and I just never noticed. lol
