I've posted in here a few times and I want to thank you for the support and advice you've given me.

Sometimes, I've had my bad times. And today is one of those times. I can feel the cloak of depression enveloping me. I just don't know else to describe it. My depression feels sort of like quicksand...does that make any sense?

I'll get through this today. I'm at work, and I'm alone right now, but others will be coming in the office soon. So, I have to put on my happy face and pretend all is rosy and happy and cheerful and wonderful, because..well, who likes a depressing person? Not the happy people I work with.

But this is nice just posting these words here and maybe someone will read them. I want to thank the people here who have replied to me about some of my issues and apologize for not being around to try to help others. You all are good, wonderful people and deserve to live lives of love and happiness. Or at least the closest we can get to love and happiness.

6. It's a helpless feeling when you can feel the depression coming on but can't stop it.

I've been very lucky since last January and haven't had any real long bouts with it, just a week or so here and there, but I know all too well what's it's like to slide under it's grip for long, long stretches. x(
