Just stopped by...
My fiancee is a photographer (just starting really - hoping to quit her job and do it full time in the middle of March). Anyway, I will sometimes steal her Nikon D70 and try to snap a few. I'll be sure to post them here when I do!

But to see some of HER work, visit www.imageinationphoto.com (hey - I did the website except where noted).

It's a lot of fun, and I am very excited for her. She's going to WPPI in March in Vegas, and if any of you are planning on attending, I can drop you some contact info if interested.

I really enjoy the work you all show here. It's diverse and full of inspiration.
Thanks -
:toast:

KJ

5. 18?? (Ouch!)
While I wear the title "Dirty Old Man" proudly (I earned it despite my avocations of celebacy and abstinence), it's still quite a shock to my psyche to contemplate an attractive woman young enough to be my grand-daughter.

It's a lovely photo. All concerned (her, her parents, and your wife) should be proud.

3. Photoshop and WPPI....
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 03:41 PM by keithjx
Yep, Andrea does use photoshop (CS) to do some touching up. You should see some of her most recent shoot (a wife sending some boudoir photos to her husband in Iraq) - really great!!! She's still learning a lot about Photoshop too. Huge program with amazing power. We're just scratching the surface right now.

Andrea shoots all digital, using a Nikon D70 with ancient Norman lights and a few different lenses (I got her a 50mm f1.8 for christmas - her new best friend!!).

Anyway, WPPI is Wedding and Portrait Photographers Int'l(http://www.wppinow.com/convention/?_UserReference=42C9284D46B405899712E3DB534D420BC4C8) and they host an annual conference in Vegas. Andrea has a friend in San Diego (Janis Foley - www.janisfoley.com) that is meeting her there.

I'll be sure to pass along your kind words. Maybe I'll get her on here before long!! (She spends most of her online time at ilp - ilovephotography.com)
