1. Looks like springtime in California. :-)
I think it's so beautiful down there in the spring, despite the rain. These pictures are really cool because although it looks stormy, there's a hint of sunshine even in the top one where it looks like the sun might be trying to shine on the roof.

3. We've got a bit of a break today
Then we're in for another Alaska cold front with rain and possibly snow. You really need to keep that weather up there. I know you need it for the doggies.

4. We got about seven inches here yesterday...
Maybe the clouds will be dry by the time they get to you. :)

2. Makes me homesick for the Bay Area.
There's something primeval about the springtime weather there. It's evocative.

5. All nice
They all have print me - frame me - hang me on a wall written all over them. The "feel" of the 1st one I really like.... I'm cold and damp just lookin' at it. How do you keep your camera dry?

7. LOL
I shot the first one from inside the house--just opened the slider, pointed the lens in the direction of the barn and clicked. :)

I have, on occasion, put the camera in a plastic bag with the tip of the lens sticking out the opening. It's good for quick shots, although a bit hard to see through the view finder. If I'm doing an extended shoot in damp weather, I cut a hole for the view finder and secure the bag with rubber bands.
