Recently scaned slide I shot years ago.........
while canoeing the Batso River in NJ. I was suprised how clear it came out.

1. You just used your scanner for the slide?
Really? Just putting a slide on the scanner and can get a pic? Never thought of that! Have several old slides would love to make into digital pics.

Did you do anything special to do this, such as placing a backing paper on top of the slide to reduce back flash reflection from the scanner inside lid area? Or does it matter?

Am soooo curious as to how you did this using a scanner!

2. No, Actually I took....................
the slides to (don't flame me) Walmart and asked them to put some slides on a CD. My earlier post, bug and bird on this page, has two other pics from the same group of slides. They charge .29 each slide to do that.

3. Ahhhh...so that's the ticket!
Will have to take mine to Walgreens, where I usually go, (no flaming for you using WallyWorld).

5. Epson makes a really nice scanner
Perfection 3170 Photo that scans slides, negatives and transparencies and does a really good job of it for less than $300.
