I figured out how to take good dog photos
Get down to their level. It's natural to take a photo of your pet from a standing position. I was playing with my new digital camera and while sitting on the ground took these photos of my dogs. It captures their personalities so much more when you are on their level than when you're looking down at them.

1. Good Tip!!
Works with all living things. You figured it out by yourself... I had to have someone tell me.
:dunce:

You have quite the kennel. I really like the first doggie shot. Quite the unique personality you captured in that face. I'm not a big fan of pet snaps, but I let down my cynical ol' bastard biases once in awhile when it comes to puppies.

2. That's good advice for almost any photo
Most things looks sort of ordinary from eye-level, since that's how we see things all the time. Shots from other angles are a good way to make them more interesting.

great looking dogs. Also helps to get on their level, also then they might even look your way.
