That really is a great photo. It illustrated two entirely different styles of architecture, both unusual. Just lovely!

I searched a few photopoop sites looking for pixies of that place (cause I didn't know anything about it) and I can honestly say I couldn't find anything that was as good as your photo.

This was a very good group this month. ALL great photos. Tough competition.

...and to superconnected, for introducing me to the Photography Group, and persuading me to enter the contests...

...and, finally, to paisley, for her love and support, and tolerance (most of the time) when I take the camera along to one place or another, knowing that she's likely to lose me for an hour or so.

And my congratulations to the other finalists, especially priller, for a stunning contest debut, and the always excellent Blue_In_AK and RadFemFL.

My photo was actually inspired by another photo posted here on this group a few months ago. It was a b&w photo of a roller coaster track, set far to the side. I thought it was a good composition and it stayed with me.

BTW, regnaD, when the contest first started I sent my girlfriend the 4 photos I thought we be the top vote-getters. And I told her yours would likely be the winner. It definitely stood out from the crowd.
