1. Much as I love Sunrise Ride
the tree is really a supporting actor to the biker.

I went with Before the Storm. Not sure how it might be received in the Lounge, but it's a helluva good photo, IMHO.

2. Thank you!

I am in-love with Before the storm! Blueridge Beauty was a shot from last summer before I started using digital. I know you are right about the Palm being a prop for the motorcycle but I included it because I loved the feeling I got seeing it my last morning in Florida.

This is an option from the same trip.

Alone at sunrise.

4. That's beautiful
and almost makes me miss my home state. This one would do well, I'm sure. Think I still would go with Before the Storm. Probably best to wait a bit for better opinions than mine.

3. Went with before the storm
Very nice. The "I don't want a pickle" photo is great but I find myself focusing more on the "I don't want a pickle" more than the tree.

6. Thanks!
I guess I'm thinking a little slowly today ... it took my a while to take I don't want a pickle (to) I just wanna ride my motorcycle. I'm trying to talk myself outta riding my motorcycle to Florida for the winter instead of shipping it $$$ is the answer. I've got my trike on the brain.

5. I really like Before the Storm but
Edited on Fri Sep-15-06 01:12 PM by CC
I have this thing about water being level. So I cropped it some to level it and added a slight curves adjustment.
I'll ask now for forgiveness for messing with it. It is just easier for me to show what I am talking about than to type it.

8. That's really nice of you!

I haven't played with my photoshop programs yet. I'm sure I'll improve over this winter. I wasn't able to get the one shot I really really wanted on my trip over the Seven Mile Bridge. It's a little difficult to take pictures while I'm driving. x( I'm going to have to rent a high profile vehicle and let someone else drive for that one very special shot of two trees hanging on to the Old Seven Mile Bridge.

10. There's a bridge that should of
been built with pull offs. That was a great capture from a moving vehicle. It is hard to get pics from a moving vehicle and harder if you should be holding on the handle bars.

7. Sunrise ride
The motorcycle doesn't bother me a bit. To me, it's all about the tree. And I don't like your second version as well. The pole thingy does distract from the tree.

9. Someday I'll be able to photoshop out things like the pole.

That was a marker in the center of the road. There were so many I wasn't able to shoot around them.

Thanks. :hi:
