I just bought a Canon A640

I used my B-Day money for it...yeah!!!

Anyone here have one?
I hope the quality matches the reviews.

1. Quick read on the specs and features
Seems like an awesome camera. Has plenty of whistles and bells to keep ya' going for a long time. I like the automatic "scene sensing" thing. Takes auto-point & shoot to a new level... and 10meg?? .... can do BIG prints.

2. 18 months ago I bought a Canon A95
Which is in the same "family" as yours, but several generations back. It was a very good camera. Really liked the flip-out LCD, that was very handy. The A640 looks better in every way. I like the dark finish, too. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

3. Got it!!
It has taken some good photos so far.
Stunning, in fact, compared to my old Olympus Stylus 400.

I will try and post some after my trip to the Colorado River next week.
