Creepy!
I was out in the yard, taking pictures of 'water on stuff' since it's dreary and drippy out again today. Just generally futzin' around...

Uploaded the pics and was going through them -
5 for the recycle bin, 1 for me - 5 for the recycle bin, 1 for me -
and came across this odd 'monkey ghost' in the middle of one pic:

How freakin' weird is that? Have no idea what caused it, but cropped it out, and moved on.

---

Open the next picture and see this:

My neighbors aren't home today. Besides which, she's blonde, he has very short hair, and they both wear glasses.

Who the heck is that?

I'm locking the doors.

7. No doubt...
and they're hiding from me because they didn't bring the cookies and snow shoes they promised. Those silver-tongued rascals talk a good game when they plant those voices in your head, but they sure don't hold up their end of the deal.

I'm going to go right out there and have a stern talking-to with that fence.

4. Considering the depth of field and degree of focus, I'd say
... it looks like a person wearing a bathing suit (or shorts) and no shirt facing to the viewer's right. What might be confused for a beady eye is the shoulder blade. Above that is the neck, the very back of the ear and a head with dark brown hair.

At least that's what I'm seeing and I'm sticking to it. :P

8. Plausibility level 99.6%
The ghost of photographers past, dressed appropriately for Florida, coming to tell me to just put it down and take the family to Olan Mills. (and who could blame them?)

My son told me I need to stop spying on the neighbors when they're 'doing it' in their backyard. He's so 19.

9. I went back through the pictures,
and the first one became obvious on a second look. It's just my fumbling around with focus:

Here's one take on what I was trying to capture:

I have no idea what they are - blooms on some weed that grew to extremes in our totally unkempt backyard that I think are pretty.

The second one? still freaks me out. shivers.

14. Rainy day photo.
Dreary and drizzly would be a more accurate description.

Took a picture of one on December 8th, too - first day with my new camera. The 'blooms' are really thick and leathery. Not quite sure of the life cycle sequence. Does the center grow into this? Or is the center huge to start with, then something happen to it? It'd probably help if I knew what it was. I'm going to try to find out.

It ends up looking like this:

*whispering - Do ya think the aliens want these berries? Maybe they planted them here knowing their crop would be safe since I pay almost no attention to tending my backyard. They've returned to harvest their life-sustaining fruit, but have been disrupted by my wandering around out there.

That's it. Time to call the Enquirer after all. Stop the presses!

6. The first one is obviously the elusive
chupacabras. That is a no-brainer. Send that pic to the Enquirer. The other one is a shadow playing with you. What looks like hair is a leaf of another plant on the other side of the fence. What looks like an eye could be anything that the sensor picked up, a coloration in a wall or what have you, but the first is definitely the chupacabras! :)

10. Wish I'd seen your post before I responded to qanda.
Darn it, I coulda been rich and famous. George Clooney would take my calls on the first ring. I could 'do lunch' with Cher and the Dixie Chicks. Barbra and I would exchange recipes.

My only hope is that chupacabras have stems attached to their blurry heads. Otherwise, all is lost.

You're probably right on the second one, too. Only one problem with it - no fame or fortune, there, either.

Oh, well. sigh Back to the drawing board...
