Wish I'd got off my ass and left the house earlier today, but we had a leaden sky left over from last night's snow.

Hope the beckoning light in these photos is a metaphor for the new year.

14. used to take quick trips to Freiburg in the Black Forest for some
week-end skiing.

But . . . miss the food most of all - sure would like a real schnitzel.
