1. That's the very one they used in "Moonstruck" one of my all time
favorites. They pulled it out of props to let you take this wonderful photo.

2. I thought I had recognized it
When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita Bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella

I love that movie too :)

thank you for the kind words about the photo

9. I used to work with people that would make up new words to songs
As they were playing on the radio and sing them aloud..

Sort of a lyrical jam if you will, it gets kind of crazy sometimes when you have several people that are good at it.

Think about having three our four Weird Al wannabees all jamming together with the radio and swapping out solos..

It was hard to get much done sometimes.

12. Now see the movie, it won the best Movie Oscar (90 percent sure)
and the best Actress Oscar (100 percent sure)for Cher.
One of top ten (relatively) contemporary movies.

5. Very nice, Merh.
We didn't get to see that big moon last night because of fog. :(

11. Moon pictures can be a little tricky and counter intuitive...
You don't use the rules for low light/night photography because it is a -very- bright object... At least 1/250 of second, if not faster.

You're off to a great start, though if I may make a suggestion, since the scene seems to have a good amount of available light, you might have been able to use a lower ISO to cut down on the noise...

10. Beautiful
The Montana hi-line gets the biggest harvest moons I have ever seen. Yours is very nearly as beautiful. I sure miss them. The moon here is bright, but never that big harvest moon like in some parts of the country.

15. thanks
the moon was gorgeous, I wish I could have taken a better shot. Fortunately I've been given a suggestion that I will try to follow to make the next shot better, less noisy.

:hi:
