I too have been out with my camera shooting street scenes, but haven't come up with anything yet that's photo contest worthy.

I like the Daisy Mart, too. We're going downtown tonight for the annual "Fire and Ice" New Year's Eve party (despite the sub-zero temps), so hopefully I'll get some good street scenes if my camera doesn't freeze up. I guess I'll take every extra battery I have. Damn, it's COLD here! The low tonight is expected to be -10 to -15. Fun, fun, fun.
