1. beautiful - both of them
I like the butterfly in the first one and the waterdrops in the second one. How did you get that butterfly standing still? Lucky you!!

5. I took like 8 shots on the digital
That is the only one that came out ok. I was lucky I got it before my daughter ran after it. The one thing I like more about my regular 35mm is the 300mm lens where I can get shots like this one from far away and not have to chase the damned thing all over the yard waiting for it to land. The shot I wanted was when it was on one of the other rose bushes which is more colorful but it did not turn out :(

Maybe next time.

2. the butterfly looks added and the rose colors look very
photoshopped.

But hey, what do I know.

I'm an amature. That's just the way it looks to me.

7. Update for you:
One of my engineers stopped by my office today shortly after I saw your post. I pulled up my photo and asked him if he thought it was photoshopped. He looked at it a minute and said "Yeah, looks like it might have been" I said it wasn't and explained it was one I took on my digital. Asked him why he thought it was and he talked about the post in the left background being weird (it is a fence post for my picket fence).

But really, never touched it with photoshop (even for a sharpen which I usually do on things). I have tons of pics which never turned out (including a bunch I took today, though some did quite well - see below as an example).

At any rate, no hard feelings on it :)

It takes a lot of foul language before I can get one to perch just right.
