Jesus' Twigs and Berries
Just because it makes me laugh every time I see it.

1. Not quite sure of your title,
but nice pic. Here are some red berries and some dark blue berries. Obviously I'm not into plant identification.

2. I did not see "Jesus" in the background for a minute, that may be the cause of your
consternation. I like it, and it makes me laugh, too.

3. My apologies, but you see "jesus"
in your pic? Hmmmmmm . . .

It's okay. I like your pic anyway.

4. He's there!
Edited on Sat Jan-10-09 03:18 PM by comrade snarky
Not metaphorical!

It's focused on the twigs and berries but he's hanging out in the background. Six feet tall and made of metal. Maybe it's more obvious to me since I took the thing. Ah well...

6. I was shocked that I missed it for a good while. Now I wonder how that could have been.

5. Lol!
Strangely, I saw Jesus right away but the "twigs and berries" part confused me for a minute. At first, I thought it was an "eats, shoots and leaves" joke.

Apparently I need my morning coffee.

8. Buddha standing on his head.
The images flip back and forth so fast, I can't really say which I saw first. For some reason, I'm seeing the "vase" as Buddha standing on his head.

Is that wrong? That's probably very wrong, isn't it?

17. 1 vase, 4 faces, 2 mannequins, or 2 chess pieces.
Depends on your mindset at the time and it's probably scary to note I fathomed all that in under 60 Earth seconds...

10. Here's a mind bender

What do you see? Look again and again and again. This is an old photo that has not been edited in any way.

(hint: There is no Jesus there).

11. Clearly.Jesus.is.there.
Curly haired, eyes closed.

BTW, this is one of the funniest threads I have read on DU. And it makes it so much more interesting that the photo is no longer in the OP. At some point I saw Jesus behind the berries but not as apparent as in the "old photo that has not been edited in any way."

12. It's reposted a little upthread
Cant believe I deleted the wrong version when I was cleaning up the duplicates on Photobucket.

No changes. Swear to god! :-)

13. he's an illusion
Try covering everything in the picture except the eye. The eye is actually a little girl sitting on her fathers lap. The nose is her arm, and the hair is shrubbery.

14. So that's what it is!
Could not tell until you pointed it out. Once I cover the eye, bam, there's the little girl.

Neat! I love optical illusions.
