1. Wow, great outing!
I remember a movie once, "The Charge at Feather River" It was a 3D movie. I wonder if this is the same river? Well, I realize it was fictional, but still. Feather River is just a great name for a river, and I see by your pictures that it lives up to its name. I love the foggy mist picture.

2. Yes! Found the movie trailer on the tube checking some of the resort options up round there
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2IrQdaUSB4 Course, it's some cowboys & injuns thing but that's Hollywood for'ya  When we made that trip last year for our bizz, it was during that 100 year 'mess in the west' storm more like a Viking Saga as I recall it; snow, ice & slush everywhere, pitch darkness, rain so hard it bounced back up off the road 2ft...it was nice to be able to get out of the car, whew!

3. Love the moss and rock textures.
These pictures remind me of when I lived out in the woods. That wonderful damp, green smell of everything, especially after a storm when the air is so clean.

It's so beautiful there. Thanks for posting these.

4. Nice!
I know that region well. We have a place at Lake Almanor and just love it there. Spectacular and not anywhere near as crowded as Tahoe.
