1. you asked for it
This is my butterflies with weeds series. After seeing these I realize I need a better camera. But, I wasn't really trying for a closeup. It is not easy to catch a butterfly in mid flap!! It does put me in a spring mindset though. Right now I would love a dandelion.

2. I was holding these with control c when I came here and found itsjustme's photos
We must have connected up about this spring time thing and butterflies
In my town we have areas with Azaleas ablaze as far as the eye can see. Hard not to get a nice picture.

Thank you JeffR for the suggestion, and to both of you for the beautiful mood altering images.

Somehow my reply ended up as a separate post. Probably my fault. I seem to be all thumbs today. Some summer pics can be found Here

15. Thanks, everyone, for your solidarity.
As winter is a grave and gathering threat, and we don't want the smoking gun to appear in the form of yet another big snowfall, we must all rally around the cause of spring.:patriot:

Nice to see a lot of heartwarming (if not tangibly warming) photos like this!

17. Very beautiful. I'm all calm and relaxed now - what a picture of the cherry tomatoes
the symmetry, and the creeping ripening are wonderfully caught.
