Poll question: Red poll
I have two images for the Red monthly contest. Having a hard time deciding.

I trust your opinions, but will probably ignore them and do as I please. I wanted to photograph the VA drawing blood from my arm, but thought that might make them uncomfortable. The bloody nose this morning might have been interesting, but my camera battery was down.

I have a friend that is a Communist, but that might have been stretching the theme a bit. His gin blossoms might have fit the theme. My neighbor's inflamed gums are nice and red, but I'm not sure he'd want to pose for any images. The above two win by default.

1. Voting for the Cardinal and against the toes.
This of course is not in my best interest, because the Cardinal photo is spectacular and on topic and the Cardinal could be a definite contender.

2. I just want to find the pervert that voted for the inflamed toes.
Maybe the person that voted for the toes caught on to the joke.

9. Ha!! I will go by your suggestion. If I enter, I will enter the Cardinal.
I had no intentions of entering the foot. It was a bit of dark humor.

4. Yeah. I was urged to photograph them and send the image to our
nephew. He's a doctor. I didn't send the image. I've already been to the VA about it and an am awaiting results of tests.

Every now and then I like to post a bit of ugly to counter the beauty of this forum.

I might enter the cardinal, or sit out the contest. I will wait to see if it appears they will get thirty entries.

6. LOL
I was sorry that I deleted the pictures I took of my severely sprained ankle. Instead of going to the doctor, I thought I would monitor the progress by taking pictures daily.

I'd put those now deleted pictures up against your toes any day!

12. Oh, the colors it turns are so neat. On my foot there is a scar from an
operation to remove a Morton's Neuroma. When they took it out, my foot and lower leg turned all kinds of interesting colors. The only colors that was kinda creepy was the yellowish around the edges of the hematoma. Sorry you shit canned them. That would have been something neat to spring on the Lounge. I've already grossed them out by entering a photo of the bottom of my foot in the self portrait challenge. Some found it disturbing. Wonderful.

Some don't understand that old and ugly is fabulous.

10. Yeah, you looked at them.
I tweaked the color a bit. The original color is closer to a rather depressing burgundy. It's more cheerful now.

15. Yes
It's unfortunate so many things are passed over simply because they aren't "pretty".

17. Interesting is underrated. Keith Richards is not pretty, but his face
tells a story. The story might make Charles Bukowski blush, but it isn't boring.

16. (Hmmm) Is Dick Morris a DU member??
Lemmesee... bird fetish or toe fetish? Well, I'll go for the Super Bowl loser instead of the understanding digits.

To each his own, I guess.

18. Any work is successful if it makes you think or feel something. Love and
revulsion are equal.

A work fails if it leaves you feeling nothing. Andy Kaufmann understood that well. Laughter or rage were equal in his eyes.
