A couple more birds..
First, a Tufted Titmouse on one of our feeders.. Sony A100, 1/250 @ ISO 400 and f14, 200mm FL..

Then two shots of a hawk I spotted at a local park.. Both with a Lumix FX07, 1/320 @ ISO 200 and f5.6..

1. The first one especially is really great.
I like the gleam in his eye.

2. I like how you caught the titmouse
with the sunflower seed. Very nice. I think your hawk may be a red shouldered hawk from its coloration and size.

3. My relative looked it up and we agree, probably a red shouldered hawk..
They are indigenous here in GA.

He swooped right by me as we were shooting an engagement ceremony at a local park then flew into a tree close by, I took a couple of minutes to get a bit closer but only had my pocket camera on me so that's what I used.

I included the shots in the proofs we sent to the couple that were getting engaged, they liked them a lot, there were some nice mallards on the lake also but those shots are on another camera and I haven't taken them off yet.

4. The first one needs to go into your archives of most adorable/luckiest and also
utterly s t u n n i n g shots.
And I have a Sony 100A, and no idea how to use it.

5. You need this ebook..
http://www.friedmanarchives.com/alpha100/index.htm

I've been playing with cameras for over forty years and it taught me a few things and reinforced many things I already knew/had forgotten. Written well enough to be of use to the nearly complete novice as well as the already experienced photographer.

Not so much luck involved with the Titmouse shot, we are practically overrun with the cute little things. What they do with the sunflower seeds is hold them with their claw against the rod this one is standing on and then peck them with their beak to crack the shell. They seem to be more attracted to peanuts generally than sunflower seeds but I think a few of them like the seeds since I do see them eating sunflower seeds from time to time.
