4. Why thank you...
my husband is such a unique guy. There's not a soul who meets him that doesn't love him.

And, I turned him into a liberal. Even better. :)

5. That's lovely.
At least in silhouette, your husband looks like President Obama!

6. Hah! I'll tell him you said that...
funny thing, he's about as pasty white as you can get, with about a thousand freckles! He's just as tall, though, and about as laid back.

8. I wondered if that was the case.
Anyway, his "inner Obama" really comes through here.

10. Yeah, our kids are screwed with the ears.
(when and if we ever have any)
My head sort of grew into my ears. But when I was a kid, I was called Curious George for a reason.
Oh well, maybe it'll turn out to be the opposite.

12. You and me both. Right now...

I'm about to throw myself out a window because I'm in a town that does not have any sense of normal music volume. So, for two days now I've been tortured by LOUD (and I'm not kidding) music at all hours of the day. And it comes from various businesses, and the main plaza. When one business stops, another starts. A truck drives by with a speaker blaring "Fabricas de Francia, dos por uno!"

I slept two hours last night. Earplugs and my TV turned up helped not one bit. I look and feel like a zombie.
I will take Guadalajara and its 6 million people any day of the week, because I live in a peaceful neighborhood there. I only have to deal with construction workers who whistle at me constantly.
I will be home (in the US) March 6, but I think I'll be going back to GDL on Thursday as opposed to Saturday.
