3. When my kids were into sports and skipping
No digital cameras! Just about all I have are the composed professional shots of the teams or maybe a few snapshots at the team pizza parties.

I'll have to make up for it with my grandson!

These are great.

So I gotta shoot fast :-)

7. I had one
One of the first, over 25 years ago. It was big and heavy. It taped on VHS and there was a this big VHS battery thingy that I carried around with it. My kids were little and I tried to tape a few things. I have very little as it was a huge hassle. One Christmas, one birthday and a picnic. I just gave up on it and went back to film.

16. Oh, man we did the same thing
I got exactly one tape out of it. It's funny though. One kid putting on a Madonna act, a few "plays", etc. No more videos until my camera came with one, so now I entertain my two year old grandkid with videos of himself. I took videos with my pocket camera at a college sorority reunion recently. The pocket camera videos look so much better than the ones they had from twenty years ago. I am not much of a video person but I was the only one who seemed willing to use the video feature of their camera. Of course some of them were more into performing for the camera. Haha.

11. I'm getting to "know" these children through the wonderful photos, it leaves me
feeling quite unaccomplished not knowing how (yet) to make such crisp action shots.
I did spend a little time with one of my grandsons as the sun was going down, and he stood still for me:)
