1. the clouds would have made a good red picture
And what are those lights in the top one? I "get" the planets. Which ones are they, do you know? I've been seeing a lot planets lately. But the big lights in the middle? It almost looks like a see through alligator, with the head at the right. I'm sure there is an explanation. How high up are you?

The red clouds ones are doing well in the contest. I don't know if you added some warm colors to it or not, but I love the effect.

I have a picture of the setting sun-- I saturated it with warm colors, slapped an Om symbol on it, and made it the logo of the distance meditation video that I sell. I forget now what this picture looked like before adding all the reds. It was taken at the Tennessee River. Here it is--

2. The really bright one in the West near sunset is Venus..
By far the brightest object in the sky other than the Sun and Moon.

To the OP, I like your shots, very nice color.

4. The lights in the first picture
are lights from a sport place.

One star is the North Star I think. I am not good with planets.

I added no colors to the pictures. It really was that red. Too bad I took it after the contest already was full and running. Your picture looks amazing.

I live on the 9th floor.

6. You get to see a lot of amazing sunsets, I bet
Wow, I just don't remember seeing these blazing red sunsets. This one was the best!! I guess it means dust is in the air (???). I'm generally too surrounded by houses and trees to see sunup and sunset.

Okay, NOW I can tell it's a sports stadium.

I love horizon shots! Thanks for posting.
