This absolutely remarkable woman is the newly appointed City Ombudsman. This was one of dozens of shots I took during an hour she generously gave me out of her insanely busy schedule. I cropped it down to a head shot for the poster below, which I designed to advertise an upcoming lecture she's giving. Added bonus: she might hire me to shoot various events she has upcoming, since using a photographer on the municipal payroll isn't really appropriate for her office.

Just wanted to share. The background photo is of one of a series of Deco reliefs which adorn the university's otherwise drab main building. I'll post some more one of these days. They really are exceptional.

4. Thanks!
I'd spoil Talley rotten if she were here right now. I'm totally under her spell!

And yes, that was a darned cold day. There were 50,000 Tamils protesting all through the downtown core that afternoon, and as a veteran of mid-winter protest marches, I really felt for them. Here's a shot of part of the protest:

5. Nice portrait
Sorry you had a crappy day. Hope things are improving.

That's a good portrait, both the full size and the cropped. It's cool that she might hire you for more projects.

6. Talley says that if you are ready to spoil her...
...her bags are packed. What can I say, the dog's fickle...

Kendall, on the other hand, sends you "Beach Feet" :

7. She's more than welcome here anytime
One of our dogs is always delighted to have canine guests. The other one's just contrary about everything, but too bad for her.
