Oh yeah, and remember to duck.....
With all the hosting site issues I've been having lately, I've been a little reluctant to post any new pix. But I finally got out today and shot these in the canal behind the house in Boynton Beach, Florida. BTW, it was an absolutely gorgeous day, in the 70s, sunny, with a light breeze. I mean, I'm just sayin'........

Anyway, I hope these can been seen........please let me know if I've got broken links again. Thanks for your patience.

1. Beautiful, and they're all showing up in Firefox for me.
Thanks for taking me pretty much right back home again with these shots. This is the time of year when I miss Florida the most. Once spring arrives, if it ever does, that homesickness vanishes pretty fast. But for now, I hate myself for moving north.

2. nice job!
and thanks for sharing..while I am about 1/2 closer than JeffR, it is a freezing cold, rainy/sleety day here today in Cape May County, NJ.
Nice to know there is Spring happening somewhere!

This guy looks like some sort of mallard/moscovy mix up...

6. Thank you......
.......and BTW, does the ferry still run from Cape May to Lewes, DE?

Had always planned on taking it when making the trip from DC to the Jersey shore, but never did.

This guy is definitely from mixed parentage, and looks to come from a long line of folks with bad skin. LOL!!

4. These are great.

What interesting faces they have - I don't think we get any waterfowl up here with such decorative heads.

Well, it's 8 here, and with the slight wind chill feels like 1. 70 is outside my realm of imagining. It's sunny, though, so I can't complain.

8. OMG...........
........8?

It goes to 48 here, and the locals are thinking it's the dead of Winter.

And, of course, how could there be global warming? It's soooooo cold.

{Head ready to explode, if I hear that "Glenn Beck argument" one more time.}

10. We've had a fairly chilly winter as was last year,
but having watched the trends up here since 1975, I would say that the past couple of years are an anomaly. It'll take quite a few very cold years to make up for the ice and glacial loss we've had.

12. Would they be related to either.....
.......Willie Mosconi or Willie McCovey?

Eider way, both those guys were pretty good with the "stick."

And, thanks for the input.
